Anna Lena is a MPhil/PhD student of the lab. She received her BSc in Psychology from Maastricht University and completed her MSc in Brain and Mind Sciences at University College London. During the research for her Master Thesis, Anna Lena studied different types of hedonistic touch. For her PhD she will assess the influence of pleasant interpersonal touch on self- and other perception by using behavioural approaches and body illusion paradigms. Apart from touch and embodiment her research interests include disorders of the bodily self and psychoanalysis.
