We are passionate about public enagement in science. Over the years we’ve worked with a range of organisations on science engagement projects including the BBC, Wellcome Collection, Edinburgh Film Festival, Royal Society Summer Science Festival, Latitude Festival, and Tate Modern. The Touch Test
Science and broadcast collaboration with BBC and Wellcome Collection
This project explored attitudes and experiences of touch via the world’s largest contemporary survey on the topic, public exhibitions, and a series of broadcast programmes focussed on the topic of touch that received worldwide attention. The project had approximately 40,000 people take part from 113 countries (see list below for all country details).

Royal Society Summer Science Exhibition, 2019
Banissy Lab shared research on people who feel the pain of other people at the Royal Society Summer Science Festival in 2019. Our exhibit included live experiments and talks from people that experience synaesthesia. It received press attention, including coverage on BBC Breakfast.
